Our mindfulness meditations can be as short as 3 minutes, but on a retreat day we usually go for about 20 minutes before taking a break where you can have some space.

Qigong explores movement and stretches from a standing position, all very gentle and designed to help you get back into your body and reconnected with your breathing.
We tend to use a set of movements called 'Shibashi' (or '18' in Chinese, referring to the 18 movements that make up a full sequence). Really easy, really accessible, really grounding.

We have regular breaks during the day where you can go and do your own thing, including finding a quiet place for some gentle yoga (we have mats!). If you're not sure what to do, don't worry - we can show you some simple routines that are easy to get on with no matter how fit and agile (or not!) you are.

Yoga is great for moving us out of our busy heads and back into our bodies. This helps to ground us and make us feel more connected to ourselves and to nature (we have outdoor spaces as well as indoor).

We are big believers in the power of mindful walking. It's something we do every day, but so often we are on auto-pilot, our minds having wandered somewhere else completely. We will go through the principles of mindful walking so that you can do it for yourself in everyday life.

We are big believers in the power of mindful walking. It's something we do every day, but so often we are on auto-pilot, our minds having wandered somewhere else completely. We will go through the principles of mindful walking so that you can do it for yourself in everyday life.
Our walking route is just over half an hour, and it's easy terrain - but if walking isn't for you, don't worry, that's not a problem (you can try some more meditation or yoga perhaps?)

This is a mindfulness meditation retreat for beginners through to experienced practitioners: there is something here for everyone. Drop us a message and get yourself booked in! The standard cost is £100 per day (reduced to £75 for our Newsletter subscribers) and this includes some nuggets of teaching throughout the day (covering psychology, philosophy and neuroscience) in addition to guided meditation and Qigong, plus space for mindful walking (bring your boots!) and yoga (we have mats!) if you fancy, or more meditation practice if not. 10am to 4pm with lunch and refreshments provided througout the day.
